Castello delle Regine grows about 8000 olive trees (with a total area of about 30 hectares), many of them centuries old. The oldest were planted in 1500, back to the founding of Castello delle Regine mansion.

The cultivars are: Moraiolo (from which we also produce an excellent mono-cultivars), Leccino, Frantoio oil, Rajo, Maurino, all belonging to the D.O.P. Umbria Colli Amerini.

We use traditional pot growing system; early harvest by hand, from mid-October, to enhance the quality of the product.
